I usually am constantly praising bright colors, like in this post, for summer but I thought I would try changing hues for summer. Even though pastels are usually linked to spring I think that they can very well be carried over to Summer. Pale blue, pink and white are the perfect combination for summer. Especially in this over the shoulder top.

As much as I love wearing bright colors, keeping it simple with pastels or neutral colors is also apart of my style. The Asher Fletcher top from Fab’rik really shows what southern style is all about. The cherry blossom details are perfect. Very simple and classic. This top is also super soft and it comes in another pattern as well! The Asher collection at Fab’rik donates money to Project 82 Kenya that helps children who were abandoned in Kenya. So not only do you get a super cute top you are helping those in need!
White jean shorts are a summer staple item in my closet and I love these from Fab’rik. They are also stretchy so I sized down two sizes miraculously! They go with any top and will be your favorite pair of shorts because they will never go out of style. For the record both the top and the shorts are under $100, so its a great deal. This look can also be great for the 4th of July!
Do you think you will be changing hues for summer this year? Let me know in the comments!
