Subtle Sparkling New Years Eve Look

As much as I love sequins as you can see in my previous post, I have yet to find a sequined dress to fit my body type. I have found other ways to create a subtle sparkling New Years Eve look that doesn’t break the bank nor does it make me feel uncomfortable. In 2018 I am making a pact with myself to accept my body, love it and be okay wearing things that fit and flatter me. I know very well if I wore a sequined body-con dress that I would be very uncomfortable and very self conscious about how it hugs every part of by body. I know that beauty is pain, something my mother still says to this day, but at the same time it shouldn’t have to be.

I paired together silver and black. Two staple colors for holiday style. These colors are very easy to find and they go with anything, even beyond the holiday. This outfit is very subtle but still has a hint of sparkle and shine. I even added this silver tassel clutch to add even more shine. It is far from your typical sequined dress that most stores sell and that most girls wear on new years eve, but this is what I would wear. Adding a pair of suede heels is the way to seal the look by dressing it up. You could dress this look down by wearing some booties, or even flats. Are you willing to wear a subtle sparkling new years eve look?

I would love to hear your new years resolutions below in the comments!
